This week in Mountain Laurel Cottage….

Welcome Back! We look forward to seeing everyone this week join us for our first week back to school. As we begin to return to school, please remember our arrival and departure times have changed in regards to last year.


Arrival: 8:10-8:20 AM Departure: 3:20-3:30 PM Location: Mt. Laurel


A few things to remember as your child returns to school are to include a morning and afternoon snack for nourishment during the work periods. A healthy snack includes an item high in protein such as yogurt, mixed nuts, hummus or sliced meat. Please use only reusable containers for snacks to eliminate campus waste.


Please have your child bring the following items each day:

-water bottle

-morning and afternoon snack

-closed toe shoes for playground and nature walks

-lunch box with reusable containers

*Please keep a cloth napkin and placement in lunchbox


Please have your child bring the following items this week to be kept at school:

-rain boots

-rain jacket or poncho

-coffee mug for hot chocolate or tea

-sandwich size bag filled with herbal tea *must be caffeine-free

-yarn with crochet hook and knitting needles for handwork

-hand towel for bathrooms *will be laundered weekly


Our parent orientation will be on Thursday, August 27th from 6:30-8:00 PM.

Please join us as we share our community culture with you. There will be beverages and snacks provided. All new families will be asked to sign-up for a brief meet & greet after-school conference with the Guide for the month of September.
