Hello all,
Welcome back! I hope everyone had a restful fall break. It seems like the class grew an inch taller since I saw them last! We have really been enjoying being back in our classroom, and taking advantage of the beautiful weather by working on our patio that we are so grateful to have. Classically Texas, the children are shedding their outerwear from the chilly mornings and often forgetting to grab them by the time we go outside. Please label all outerwear so we make sure it makes it back with the right person. This will be even more important when it gets colder and the children have hats and gloves. This month we have started talking about the parts of the human body. This week we will listen to our hearts with a stethoscope. We just got a new human body puzzle on the shelf which has been very popular and sparked a lot of interest! Next Thursday morning Elizabeth and I will be presenting and answering questions on the importance of the third year. I hope you come and learn about what Montessori kindergarten looks like! During conferences a few of you asked about our Amazon wishlist, it can be found on the Cedars website under the Road Runner parent connection page. Hope you have a great end to your week! Warmly, Melissa Upcoming flower assignments are: Patrick-December 6 Rohil-December 13 Addit-January 10 Shivani-January 18
